2024 Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation Scholarship

The mission of the Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation is to promote and uplift the education of youth and the advancement of communities. This is achieved through it involvement in various activities and initiatives. These activities are to support both the national initiatives and programs of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated as well as support other local philanthropic interest in St. Louis metro area. The Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation Scholarship is open to African American high school seniors who live in the city of St. Louis or St. Louis County. This is a one-time, non-renewable award.

The Fine Arts Scholarship is provided by the Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation in partnership with the St. Louis Panhellenic Council, and the Regional Arts Council and awarding a $1000.00 scholarship to St. Louis high school students who have demonstrated academic excellence in the fine arts.

The Gateway Arch Scholarship will be awarded, totaling $1000.00 based upon consideration of academic excellence, financial need, personal accomplishments, aspirations, and student/ community involvement.

The deadline for the application submission is April 5, 2024.

Eligibility
Applicants must:

  • Be a high school senior.

  • Have at least one birth parent classified as Black or African American.

  • Live in the city of St. Louis or St. Louis County.

  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

  • Plan to attend a 4-year college or university next school year.

 

Finalists for these scholarships may be required to participate in an interview.

Recipients are strongly encouraged to attend the Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation scholarship reception.  Date is to be determined.
